Loved the update the app got, much better than the last one and easier to use. It's pretty stable and fast to select the card to pay on store, haven't tried out recharging money through the app yet. The only thing that I miss is the feature of the app recognizing the music that's playing when you enter the store and telling you the name and artist, would be great to hace that.

★★★☆☆ The app is useful, but two issues remain: coffee quality is very inconsistent. My Espresso Americano can be excellent some days, then mediocre or even bad for weeks. At $4 bucks, consistency matters. Also, the online balance reload feature has not worked properly for me for years. These recurring issues make the app and overall Starbucks experience frustrating at times...

I've never had an app with so many issues, most of the time the information is not displayed well, I can never place an order in the app because it is "unable to process my request at that time" and also vouchers and rewards for my accumulated points do not load. The overall quality and user friendliness is bad and needs some dedicated attention and investment to improve.
